Audrey Arkins' adaptation of the novel 'When The Men Were Gone' was optioned by Mandalay Pictures, April 2023. She is Writer & Executive Producer on that project. Audrey is also EP on 'Death in Ojai' (directed by Philippe Calande) which is due for release Summer 2023. Audrey wrote 'Never Back Down: Revolt' (Sony Pictures, 2021). She co-wrote 'Elyse' (2020) starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, 'Farewell' (2009) starring Emir Kusturica & Guillaume Canet, & 'Missing Brendan' (2004), starring Ed Asner & Adam Brody. She was hired to write 'Inkotanyi' – the story of the RPF who stopped the Rwandan Genocide. Her MOW thriller 'Killer Daddy Issues' premiered for Lifetime in Feb 2020. Her second MOW thriller 'Dating Hell' debuts Fall 2023. In her early career, Audrey wrote and lectured on Politics at Universities in Ireland where she was born. She made her first Documentary for Channel 4 in the UK, profiling Irish Prime Minister, Garrett Fitzgerald. After relocating to the US, she wrote and produced multiple documentaries before becoming a screenwriter. Audrey wrote and directed her first short feature 'American Boy' in 2017, and hopes to direct her independent feature 'Miss America'. She is repped at CAA by Bruce Vinokour.
