The Atlanta Vertical Film Festival celebrates the next evolution of filmmaking: stories designed for the vertical screen.

As audiences increasingly experience entertainment on mobile devices, the vertical frame has emerged as a powerful new cinematic format. From short-form storytelling to episodic drama and experimental filmmaking, creators around the world are exploring how the vertical screen can create more intimate, immersive experiences for viewers.

The Atlanta Vertical Film Festival highlights filmmakers who are embracing this new visual language.

Based in one of the world’s fastest-growing film production hubs, the festival brings together creators, producers, and innovators interested in the future of mobile-native storytelling.

Selected films will screen as part of a curated program showcasing narrative, documentary, and experimental vertical cinema.
