Audience Choice Award for Best Live Action Narrative Sci-fi Short
Announcing $1,000 in Cash and over 2K in Software Prizes!!!!

This year's suggested theme is "Sci-fi Remix" - taking public domain sci-fi films and re-imagining or updating them! This is not mandatory, rather a challenge to see who can re-create classic cerebral sf films into captivating shorts. In addition, encouraging diversity in science fiction is one of the main missions of The Multicultural Sci-fi Organization and therefore is strongly encouraged. We don't limit diversity to just ethnicity and race, but is inclusive of: culture, gender, sexual orientation and disability. Please keep in mind, Heavy emphasis on this is not needed and will be seen as “Forced Diversity”, which will diminish the sincerity and quality of your work if not done in the true spirit of equality.

The presentation is awesome and they really care about the filmmakers which is also evident in the prizes and awards offered to winners of the festival.
