Arthur Lopes is an award-winning Film Director, Producer, and Editor whose work has garnered international acclaim, earning over six global film awards, including Best Film, Best Documentary, and Best Director for "Libre: A Celebration of the Queer Body", including a selection to the Virgin Media International Film Festival in Dublin,Ireland plus 10 more selections around the world.
His short film "Little Dream Boy" was named Best Children Short of the Year and earned him a Best Director nomination at the IndieX Film Fest in Los Angeles.
Arthur holds dual degrees in Marketing & Advertising and in Film & Television Production, bringing a unique balance of creative storytelling and strategic vision to his work. His films have been showcased at festivals in Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles, Prague, India, Germany, Cannes and across Ireland.
He was nominated for Best Factual Entertainment at the Royal Television Society Awards for "Bagatelle: Ómós do Liam Reilly" part of the Irish TV Channel TG4, where he worked as Production Manager, and won Best Comedy for "Mustard", part of Ireland's TV Channel RTÉ’s Storyland series.
