Una confluencia amena y mixturada entre lo humanista, lo devocional, lo místico, lo intrarreligioso y lo cultural.

El Jurado de la Competencia Oficial de Largometrajes premiará al Mejor Largometraje y hasta Dos Menciones. El Jurado de la Competencia Oficial de Cortometrajes premiará al Mejor Cortometraje y una mención.

The Jury of the Official Feature Film Competition will award the Best Feature Film and up to two honorable mentions. The Jury of the Official Short Film Competition will award the Best Short Film and one honorable mention.

Rules & Terms

(ENGLISH BELOW) 1.- El 12do, Arfecine - Semana Internacional de Cine de Buenos Aires - convoca al Concurso de Cortos y Largometrajes, con el objetivo de estimular y difundir la producción de la región y el continente.

2.- Podrán participar los cortos y largometrajes de cualquier país.

3.- Deberán haber sido realizados a partir del 1 de enero de 2023 y en las siguientes categorías: ficción, documental y animación. La duración máxima aceptada por trabajo será de 20 minutos para cortos y 120 para largos. Los trabajos no podrán haber sido exhibidos en anteriores ediciones del festival y se dará prioridad a aquellos que sean estreno nacional o regional.

4.- Las realizaciones podrán haber sido producidas en cualquier formato fílmico o digital, pero deberán presentarse para su exhibición en los siguientes formatos: Archivo: H264, estéreo, 1920x1080 o similar (MKV, MP4, AVI).

5.- En el caso de trabajos que no sean originalmente en idioma español, deberá venir con subtítulos incrustados en español o acompañados de archivo SRT con el time code para ser traducidos al español (REQUISITO EXCLUYENTE).

6.- El plazo límite para la recepción de los materiales es el 22 de octubre de 2025.

7.- Un jurado internacional de tres miembros discernirá los premios en las diferentes categorías, y su fallo será inapelable.

8.- El festival procurará brindar facilidades para la presencia de los realizadores de los cortos seleccionados durante el festival, pero la aceptación del trabajo no implica otorgar invitación con pasaje y alojamiento, el que deberá correr por cuenta del participante.

9.- La inscripción del film en el festival implica la aceptación tácita de las presentes bases. Cualquier imprevisto no establecido en estas Bases y Reglamentos, o que surja durante el Festival, será interpretado y resuelto única y exclusivamente por el Comité Organizador, y no dará lugar a ningún tipo de reclamo posterior. EL FESTIVAL NO PAGA FEES DE EXHIBICIÓN. Es un evento de carácter netamente cultural y cuenta con ayuda de varios voluntarios.

1.- The 12ve. Arfecine - Buenos Aires International Film Week - announces its Short and Feature Film Competition, with the aim of stimulating and promoting film production in the region and across the continent.

2.- Short and feature films from any country may participate.

3.- They must have been made after January 1, 2023, and fall into one of the following categories: fiction, documentary, and animation. The maximum length accepted per work is 20 minutes for short films and 120 minutes for feature films. The films may not have been shown in previous editions of the festival, and priority will be given to those that are national or regional premieres.

4.- Entries may have been produced in any film or digital format, but must be submitted for screening in the following formats: File: H264, stereo, 1920x1080 or similar (MKV, MP4, AVI).

5.- In the case of films that are not originally in Spanish, they must come with embedded Spanish subtitles or accompanied by an SRT file with the time code to be translated into Spanish (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT).

6.- The deadline for receipt of materials is October 22, 2025.

7.- An international jury of three members will decide the awards in the different categories, and their decision will be final.
