The Aotearoa Surf Film Festival (ASFF) is New Zealand’s surf film festival held annually at the end of summer. Celebrating the best of surf culture, surf cinema and our connection with the environment. In true kiwi style, we take a curated selection of international and kiwi surf feature films, documentaries and short films to the masses! The tour runs over 10 weeks and is a nationwide tour that stops off at 21 locations.

All kiwi and international surf filmmakers are welcome, and we would love to see professional, amateur and first-time filmmakers submit. Films must celebrate the art of wave-riding in all its diversity, simple as that.
