Anvaya, derived from Sanskrit, means "connection" or "lineage." It symbolizes a network or flow that binds people, ideas, and cultures together. In this context, Anvaya represents creating a community of storytellers through various mediums, aiming to foster a shared sense of identity, creativity, and cultural enrichment. Storytelling spans multiple mediums; Visual Arts , Performing Arts, Literature, Digital and Traditional Arts.

Anvaya is a celebration of stories and their timeless connections. Rooted in Haryana's cultural heritage, it brings together diverse art forms to create a vibrant platform for creativity, empathy, and innovation. Anvaya seeks to connect people through narratives that resonate across generations, fostering a community where tradition meets modernity in a celebration of human expression.

The 1st edition of Anvaya is scheduled from 29th to 30th March 2025. Considering the substantially low number of festivals organised to promote and nurture the stories and storytellers of north western India, NID Haryana opens its doors to many such voices.
“To build a global community where stories transcend boundaries, enriching lives and inspiring generations to come, while evolving storytelling as a living, ever-changing art form.”
