Antun Balog was born in 1983 in Virovitica city based in Croatia. He graduated in film and TV editing at the Drama Academy of Arts in Zagreb, Croatia, where he earned the title of academic film editor. Film editing is signed by several documentary titles, and the films he accompanied were shown at film festivals such as in Croatia as well as in many countries of the world. He participated and led several film workshops. From their own of film works, the most successfully edited documentary "War Reporter" directed by Silvestre Kolbas for which also received “Okavijan” for the best editing. He also edited the documentary film "Cartoonists" directed by Krešimir Lendić. In 2018, he directed his first short documentary film "Traces", which was founded on monitoring the creation of multimedia work by the artist Mario Matoković and the realization of the idea of a city that in post-war times, instead of progress, it faces an uncertain future. In 2022, he directed film his author's hybrid essay " Meeting place ". The film is about the mutation and metamorphosis of memory under the medium corrosive effects of time. For the last three years, he has been collaborating on various commercial and artistic projectsprojects. He lives and works in Osijek
