In 2020 Anthoniy Hristov has graduated BA in film production, specializing in Directing and Producing at Arts University Bournemouth in Bournemouth, UK. After his return to Bulgaria he enrols for a master's degree course - Directing for Screen at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyo Sarafov" in Sofia, where he graduates in November 2023. During his studies, he wins the prize of the special jury of "Stoyan Kambarev" foundation with the short film "Flea". Afterwards Anthoniy works on his latest short film “Cats Have no Roots”, music videos, adverts and is currently working on a feature documentary film named “Life on Pause”.
The short film "Cats have no roots" is the director's seventh short film, supported by the National Culture Fund in Bulgaria, the municipality of Stara Zagora city and the Bulgarian National Television.
