Anna K. Long is an LA-based filmmaker, choreographer, and actor. Anna started her dance career in earnest at three years old, when, after watching a beat up VHS of Mikhail Baryshnikov's nutcracker, she took a solemn vow to never sit still again. Twenty years, one liberal arts degree, and many dance classes later, Anna became certified as a Gaga teacher in Tel Aviv.
Anna began work as a writer and director in 2021. Her first narrative short, Death in the Desert, was awarded best short drama at Breck Film Fest 2024. She is also a 2024 winner of the Fujifilm Aspiring Filmmakers Award through Decentralized Pictures.
Anna is a Programmer for the Salute Your Shorts Film Festival and produces dance workshops in Southern California.
