Biography Angelo Donzella
Angelo Donzella, born in Turin in 1964, is a director and actor. He began his career as an actor in 1993 and then turned to directing starting in 2020, with his first award-winning short film ISOLATION, directed together with Roberto Loiacono. Subsequently his major works were in 2022 the spy thriller JASMINE'S SUSPICION and then in 2023 the award-winning short film UNEASE. In the same year 2023 he made his latest medium-length film SURVEILLANCE, a "Spy Movie."
A photography enthusiast since way back in 1982, he has brought his maniacal care for photography to his films. Since he is also a musician, the soundtrack has a decisive impact in his.
He began his career as an actor in 1993.
In 1994 he was one of the leading actors in the film “EQUIVOX” – directed by Roberto Loiacono. In 1995 he played the role of leading actor in the film “EUTANASIA DI UN INCUBO” – directed by Roberto Loiacono.
In 1996 he played the leading role in the film “KILLER” by Roberto Loiacono, which participated in the 14th International Youth Film Festival, where he placed first in the selection for the Turin area.

In 2008 he was an actor in the medium-length film “CALIBRO 70” – directed by Alessandro Rota.
In 2008 he was the protagonist of the short film “HARDCORE” – directed by Alberto Viavattene.
In 2011 he worked as an actor in the Short Film “DOPO LA NOTTE” – directed by Alberto Viavattene.
In 2020, from an idea by Angelo Donzella, the web series “QUARANTENA (Io resto a casa)” was born – directed, screenplay and edited by Roberto Loiacono – in which he is one of the protagonists.
