Andrew Vilange (Andrii Venislavskyi) is a 21-year-old Ukrainian director, performer, and composer pursuing a Bachelor of Film Production in Directing at The Los Angeles Film School, with a prior Bachelor’s in Theatre Production from the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Television and Cinema of Ivan Karpenko-Kary. His work merges cinema, videogames, theatre, music, and technology, reflecting influences from both European and American traditions.
He has directed and edited several projects, including the documentaries "Ink and Inspiration" (2023), "Legacy of David Lynch" (2024), and the short film "Marked" (2025). In theatre, he co-directed and acted in "My Way" (2024) and served as Assistant Director on "The Bat" (2023). As a composer, he has written and produced original songs like "Ghostly Reflection," "Facing the Darkness," and "Crimson Disease."
Having traveled across Europe, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates, Andrew’s experiences shaped his understanding of different cultures, enriching his worldview and deepening his artistic insight. A trained saxophonist with over eight years of experience, he also plays piano, clarinet, and flute, often composing and performing his own works. Influenced by "Twin Peaks," "X-Files," and "Mindhunter," his art blends atmosphere and introspection.
He is the founder of AV Team, a global community of gaming programmers and players with over seven thousand members. With strong technical expertise in programming, design, and hardware, Andrii combines creativity and precision, known for his formal discipline, technical mastery, and distinctive sense of humor — a director who builds bridges between media, cultures, and people.
