Storytelling, for as long as I can remember has forever interested me. I have always enjoyed building and creating things, but also wrestling with those complex questions. Film quickly stood out as a medium that quite happily combined the two. Now I continue to build, layer and fashion an experience, through careful application of light, symmetry, colour and movement. I also try to understand how and why we feel the way we do, when experiencing events. This helps me transport people into familiar spaces where necessary.

The visual arts have a great capacity to impact people. In advertising, we look to show how a product could do this. The story behind the visuals is so important and in whichever capacity, my job is to help realise that story.

I believe it is important to pursue things that give us joy and this highly visual form of storytelling, is one of those things for me. Every job has its own flavour and set of challenges. It is essential to stay true to this, while mediating the creative process and problem solving along the way.
