Lifelong New Yorker, musician, veteran visual designer and auteur documentarian.
Andrew was born April 27, 1971 in New York City. At the age of five he was selected to appear in a Merchant/Ivory documentary, the experience of which changed his life forever. After falling in love with acting while attending the Collegiate School in New York and filmmaking at Vassar College, Andrew was offered a scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, which he promptly turned down to begin a twenty-year odyssey through as many creative disciplines as he could get his hands on.
From typography, visual and forensic design, and six years as an intelligence and counter-espionage contractor, to animation, commercial voice work and direction, his unprecedented apprenticeship would lead him right back to where he began... Only now he was the documentarian rather than the subject.
His last project, "Smoke and Mirrors" (smokeandmirrors.fm) can be found wherever podcasts are streamed. His first feature documentary, "Spymaster – The True Story of Sidney Reilly", is making the rounds of the festival circuit this summer and fall.
