Andrew Klaus-Vineyard is of Inuit, Icelandic, and Jewish descent yet grew up in the hellishly humid swamps of the Gulf Coast of the United States. With more alligators than opportunities Klaus-Vineyard shrugged and struck out for a life in a variety of arts spanning visual works for the Tate Museum, playing in punk bands, and producing and directing critically acclaimed theater productions. As a filmmaker Klaus-Vineyard is healily influenced by experimental art film, folk horror, and New Queer Cinema.
