A film can challenge and expand our ideas about the world within which we live and the people who we live among, igniting a conversation within our minds and hearts that can shift our perspectives and change the way we live for the better.
Having grown up inside the storied landscapes of rural Texas and now living among the folklore found along the backroads of Southwest Georgia, Storytelling has always been Andrew Greer’s “thing.” From his first passion and continued profession in songwriting, to dabbling in journalism, authoring a short list of books, producing and hosting podcasts, to juggling multiple roles on film sets as host, producer, and most recently as director, Andrew thrives on mining the fodder of ordinary living for the uncommon stories that fuel extraordinary film.
While his songs have long positioned his music on stages across the country, his productions are beginning to station his series’ on syndicated television nationally and streaming platforms worldwide.
A longtime Nashville resident, Andrew is realizing his present obsessions and lifelong dream while living inside the "set" of his first documentary, Plainspoken–filmed in the Deep South whistle-stop of Plains, Georgia.
