Andreane is a Greek-British screenwriter, filmmaker, actor and digital content creator based in London. She holds degrees from the Universities of Essex and York, and has a decade's worth of experience in the film industry. She is the co-founder and programmer of the WINE DARK SHORT FILM FESTIVAL, London’s first short film fest dedicated to neurodiversity, disability & mental health.
Her particular interests as a filmmaker relate to creating more opportunities for other disabled, neurodivergent or migrant voices, and her first short film, SORRY I'M LATE in 2023, was commissioned by ADHD Hellas and received awards in numerous film festivals around Europe.
Her second short film, THE THREE GRACES, is a Pre-Raphaelite comedy period drama currently in post-production following a successful Kickstarter campaign, where alongside director Nicole Sarah Fry & co-producer and co-star Tessa Battaiotto, the team managed to fundraise over £7000 to make it happen. This period drama also co-stars Sharif Afifi (Olivier-nominated for The Band's Visit), Clementine Nicholson (Underworld: Blood wars, Knightfall), Delon Jessop (Casualty) as well as RADA newcomers Marilou Tamvaki and James Pendley-Holden.
