Anastasia Mischenko is a Belarusian-born French film director and writer who gained recognition for her 2022 short film Candy Wrap. She holds degrees in Chinese and Italian languages and literature and an MBA. Before transitioning to filmmaking, Anastasia pursued a dynamic career in business.

Anastasia later pursued her passion for cinema, studying at VGIK (Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography) in Moscow, where she refined her skills as a director and writer. This pivotal change marked the start of her creative career in filmmaking, culminating in her directorial debut, Candy Wrap, which has gained recognition on the film festival circuit.

Now based in Paris, Anastasia is actively working on her second short film and preparing for her first feature. Her unique combination of business acumen and artistic vision positions her as an emerging talent with a multifaceted perspective on storytelling and project management.
