Originally from Yugoslavia, Ana-Marija is living in Toronto doing comedy all over the city. She has opened for such names as Aparna Nancherla, Erik Bergstrom and Mark Normand. Ana-Marija was featured in NBC Showcase in the Women in Comedy Festival Boston 2018. She has participated and shone in a number of competitions across North America. She was a finalist in the Sirius XM’s Top Comic Competition 2017 and a semi-finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2017. Her webseries F*ckgirls was selected for the Great Canadian Sketch Comedy Film Festival 2018.
She was a recipient of Netflix's 2018 Diversity of Voices fellowship at the Banff World Media Festival, and was one of 20 applicants selected for their industry pitch program.
Ana-Marija's new podcast she co-hosts called "F*ckgirls" was recently featured on iTunes "New and Noteworthy" you can listen to it here. Her web series of the same title just finished up its first season online. She also has an original series she co-wrote and stars in called "Neighbours," broadcast on CBC Comedy digital. And has appeared numerous times in the comedic series "Torontopia" broadcast on CBC Comedy. She has also been in 3 national commercials.
