I love to give folks a laugh, a thrill, real feelings, and to help them come together over a good story. I did it as a comedian, circus performer, actor, and now, at last, as a filmmaker.

On the road internationally, 10 months out of 12 for the past 20 years as a variety performer, I’ve made a career out of finding our connective tissue as human beings, and playing those strings for laughs. I love comedy in all it’s forms - physical, verbal, musical, one-liners, rom-com; they all strike different chords in both hearts and minds. As a film and TV writer, I want to offer that full-meal deal: broad, undeniable comedy that opens us up to move us and change our perspective.
While I’ve made many short form videos for my various stage or online presentations, Big Time TV Pilot is my first fully produced film. I don’t expect it’ll be my last.
In my time on the stage, I played in over 45 countries, on 6 continents, in 5 languages, and received an Olivier Award (Best Entertainment, La Clique, 2009) playing on London’s West End. I wrote and directed many critically acclaimed stage productions including Anti-Gravity’s Crash Test Dummies which played on Broadway at the New Victory Theatre, Cirkus Inferno, Rocket Johnny and Roxanne Rolls Untimely, Tragic and Fiery Death Stunt Show, Amy G: On A Roll, Amy G: Round She Goes, and Entershamement.
I have played some of the most prestigious stages in the world including the Sydney Opera House, London’s Hippodrome (before and after it became a casino), Paris’ Bobino, the Kennedy’ Center for the Performing Arts, New Victory Theatre, Symphony Space, Lincoln Center, Union Square, The Public Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Seattle’s Triple Door, Edinburgh’s Lyceum, and Montreal’s Just for Laughs, to name a few.
I was the first female solo comedian in 45 years to lead the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center. I also conceived and wrote the text for that beloved character, Pidge, the NYC Pigeon who got over her fears and learned to fly.
As a singer I’ve recorded a couple of albums, and sang backup for numerous others. My comedy has been featured internationally on many TV shows, comedy specials, and documentaries.
This life has been nuts, in every way, and I am chocked full of stories that I just can’t wait to tell.
