Amanda R. Woomer is an author, playwright, director, and actress from Buffalo, NY. She has been a judge for the Amazing Fantasy Fest, an Associate Producer on Greg Lamberson's Frenzy Moon, and was also featured in the 2024 short, Forward, and the 2025 feature film, Dyngus Day. Amanda is making her directing debut with her horror short, Cupcake, which won Best Micro Short at the Valkyrie International Film Festival.
She is currently the author of over 20 books on the subjects of true crime, dark history, horror, the occult, and the paranormal. She's also written several screenplays and stage plays focusing on horror and reinterpreting gothic literature. Most notably, Amanda wrote, produced, directed, and starred in an original adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
