Born and raised in a small New England town by the sea, Alyssa Botelho's love for storytelling began in a 19th century library, and has become a place of great inspiration. Driven by a deep fascination with the untold stories of the past, her films often spotlight women's experiences, blending historical depth with elements of suspense and dry humor. Alyssa's previous film, inspired by the 17th-century Salem Witch Trials, received recognition including “Best Short Fiction” and “Best Director” awards from the New England College Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
