Alon Assouline is a French-Israeli photographer and filmmaker born in Jerusalem in 1975. He grew up and completed all his education in France. For more than 18 years, he has been a bodyguard and expert in private security for large Russian and American families on all five continents, while being passionate about photography, with a sense of observation probably tenfold due to his career in close protection. His lifelong inspiration ? Capa, Cartier Bresson, Brassaï, Newton, Salgado and
more recently Vivian Mair. In 2013, he decides to pack up his earpiece and dark suit to dedicate himself to his passion, the image, the instant, the photo. His pictures represent street scenes, street photography. New York skyscrapers, the streets of Tokyo, Paris, Jerusalem, no longer hold any secrets for him. Pioneer of smart photography, his first opus "Point of View" is published in 2017. Hard worker, in perpetual evolution in his work, he realizes in 2019 the exhibition - photo « Portrait sans Frontières », along with his first documentary film. It's production allows him to discover a new world. Alon Assouline is a master at creating emotional journeys. His sense of detail and observation, which differs from the others thanks to his professional training ; offers us a new look whether it is photographic or cinematographic. He becomes passionate about filmmaking and decides to adapt his first autobiographical book "Dangerous Protection".
