Alison Becker is a writer, actor, comedian, director, and producer. Perhaps best known for portraying Shauna Malwae-Tweep, the longest running guest star on NBC's "Parks and Recreation," she has acting credits that number in the hundreds. An accomplished screenwriter, Becker just sold a feature script about gender inequality to Amazon Studios. She also has two other features in development. She has produced a pilot for Tru TV, and wrote and produced an award-winning short film, "Control," that was featured in over 40 film festivals worldwide and landed her at the center of a crucial dialogue about mental illness. Alison believes that comedy and tragedy are ends of the same circular spectrum, so at their furthest reaches, they brush shoulders. And sometimes, they are one and the same.
