Alina Rizwan is an Independent Documentary Filmmaker based in Karachi. She's been working as an assistant director in the industry for almost 5 years now. She produced her first short film in 2023 named Vachan. This short film was an official selection in the UK Asian Film Festival and was awarded with many accolades in the home country. 'The Silence After The Storm' is her first directorial work. The project was made with the collaboration of Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy Films and Patakha Pictures.
