A University of Pennsylvania and Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre graduate, Ali began his career working at talent agency ICM Partners. As a dramaturg-screenwriter-actor-filmmaker, he’s worn numerous hats on all of his projects consistently over the years. He’s met with Netflix in the past regarding his feature film screenplay work. His last short film, Buried & Forgotten, won accolades at prestigious film festivals across the country, including a Best Actor Award from the New York Women in Film & TV Shorts Festival (NYWIFT). He’s also a licensed skydiver and pilot.
