Prior, Alexander spent 4 years working as an actor, appearing on some notable shows such as "DC Legends Of Tomorrow" and "Man in The High Castle", before ultimately pursuing his career as a writer, director and producer. He is also in the Directors Guild of Canada.

Alexander trained at Capilano University in their Acting for Stage And Screen program (ASAS), then further at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts before continuing his studies at Deb Podowski's Acting Studio. Once having left Capilano, his work took him across several film production companies, amid his pursuit of acting. He grew up in Langley, BC, and lives in Abbotsford.
