Alessandro Carrieri was born in Puglia, in S. Pietro Vernotico (Br), on 03 August 1977. He approaches cinema, but above all a taste for the aesthetics of the image, first studying at the Faculty of Cultural Heritage, S.T.A.M.M.S section. of the University of Lecce.
After living for a short time in London in 2006, he decides to move to Rome, where he completes his studies with a two-year course in Directing at the Rosebud Academy in Rome, where he has the opportunity to deepen his techniques from a technical point of view. his knowledge of directing.
Studying with teachers such as Giuseppe Ferrara, Roberto Pariante, Giancarlo Santi, Roberto Girometti, Marcello Gatti, Lino Capolicchio.
He is the author and screenwriter of his own works (short films, video clips, feature films, shows). The cinema that he intends to promote in his works is a cinema that has something to say, that has a taste for the aesthetics of the image, a poetics, but which is outside the lines, at times unreal dreamlike, at times improbable and grotesque, but always managing to communicate even in a subliminal way drawing on a style that evokes dreams.
