Alan Masa is an actor/comedian, writer, and director. He is a graduate of The Second City Hollywood Conservatory, and was cast as a premium ensemble performer for The Second City Hollywood sketch show, "Some F*cking Advice", which was showcased at the 2017 LA Diversity in Comedy Festival. His performance in the show was lauded as "heart-warming". In addition to improv/sketch, Alan also performs stand up throughout LA. He has been seen at world famous comedy venues such as The Comedy Store, The Ice House Comedy Club, Flappers Comedy Club, and UCB LA. Alan started out in comedy at ComedySportz San Jose as a Sunday performer, and then moved to LA to pursue a career in acting/comedy, writing, and producing. Alan is currently producing a sketch comedy series on YouTube called, “The Comedy Snack Shack” where content from the series has received numerous festival accolades. Recently, "Meditation Mayhem" was awarded "Best Comedy" at the Austin Micro Film Festival Fall 2024. As as actor, Alan was also nominated in the "Best Ensemble Cast" category for his performance in the "The Call Center" at the Austin Micro Film Festival Fall 2024.
