Born and raised in London’s East-End, Alan came from a family environment of rich storytelling (often about themselves). Turns out it would be inevitable he’d be drawn to storytelling and film making.

Alan credits also include working Tim Burton's Frankenweenie and Wes Andersons' Isle of Dog as an assistant director.

He currently lives in Brighton working as a freelance director/ animation director.
