Born in Vevey (Switzerland) in 1979, Alain Wirth worked as a primary school teacher, mover, travel writer, street singer, salesman, beverage delivery man, guide, and bartender before deciding to study film at HEAD (University of art and design - Geneva). He currently focuses his energy on socially conscious documentaries, which he directs and produces.
