Writer/Producer ALEXANDER JULIAN of Feedback Films has been bringing his lifetime experience in clinical psychology and law to the creation of teleplays, films, commercials and shorts for the past seven years. His first full feature screenplay, RETROGRADE, was converted into a full-length graphic novel in 2016, and a second graphic comic was just published from his newest screenplay, GROWLER. A short entitled, THE CAMERAMAN, played in the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, and the multi-award winning thriller, HOT QUESTIONS, continues to garner accolades.
FEVER DREAMS, a full length feature film with Al as the principal writer, won multiple awards on the festival circuit, including 4 four Best Picture. The film was picked up recently for world-wide distribution by MBUR Films and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. In 2019, he optioned the full length thriller, THE PUPPETEER to LA-based Hammer Entertainment.
His latest projects promise to be additional front-runners for FEEDBACK FILMS. Bringing his understanding and insight from both behind and in front of the camera, Al turns the spotlight onto the universal experience of the price we pay for the decisions of our youth. His short film THE REUNION, released in 2020, he takes us into the lives of two former friends facing the consequences of a painful breakup from long ago. In the GIFT, another short film also released in 2020, Al accesses a past life as a clinical psychologist to share with us the impact of an unexpected surprise on the negative world view of a life-long cynic.
