Ahmed Hashmi is an American actor, screenwriter and producer. Ahmed was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. From a young age, he was always drawn to the art of performance and storytelling. Ahmed began taking drama classes at the age of ten and went on to attend the renowned school of improvisation, The Second City, in his early twenties. Upon attending his first class, a lightbulb went off and he immediately knew that acting was more than just a passion for him, it was a lifelong career. Over the years, Ahmed has studied at many institutions in Chicago, including the acclaimed iO Theatre.
He has performed in numerous plays, over the years, in the Chicago area. On screen, he is best known for Meeting a PS5 Scalper, which he wrote, produced and played the lead role in. The film won Best Micro-Short Film at the The Thing in the Basement Horror Fest in 2021.
Aside from acting and creating content, Ahmed enjoys gaming, basketball, fitness and films of many genres. He is based in Chicago.
