SUBMISSION AND FORMAT OF MATERIALS
Film submission to the competitions is free.
Only works completed after January 1, 2024, are eligible for the competitions.
Works submitted for the 2025 edition or earlier will not be accepted.
Films will only be accepted if they are properly uploaded to the FilmFreeway platform https://filmfreeway.com/Afragolafilmfestival
Accepted formats for initial evaluation:
High Definition (HD 1080 x 720) and/or Full HD (1920 x 1080)
Upload H.264 / MPEG-4 / Mov.
If the work is selected, the participant must provide their work in DCP format for theatrical screening.
Important: No compensation or other types of compensation will be paid for the screening of films entered into the competition.
Submission of works to the competition constitutes acceptance of these rules. By submitting your submission, you agree to the company and the Al di Là della Visione management team using the submitted works for cultural initiatives related to the festival, as well as to post them on platforms in collaboration with the festival to facilitate their dissemination and viewing, without infringing copyright and any income of the rights holders of the films.
LANGUAGE
All films in languages other than Italian must be submitted in their original language with Italian or English subtitles.
Any works without subtitles will not be considered.
SHIPMENT OF SCREENING COPIES
The screening copy of the film in DCP format must be received at the festival headquarters no later than October 1, 2026, according to the instructions provided by the Festival:
- by email to info@afragolafilmfestival.it, indicating "DCP and film title" in the subject line;
- or by mail, marking the envelope with "Without commercial value, for cultural purposes only."
Any shipment from countries outside the European Union must be accompanied by a proforma invoice, packing list, and travel documents (title and quantity of video media for each film; for celluloid films, the number of reels and the length of the film in meters must be indicated). At the same time, the sender must ensure that the Festival secretariat receives a shipping notification email, indicating the film title, date, and shipping coordinates (AWB number).
Shipping and customs clearance costs for the screening copy of selected films are the responsibility of the sender. For returns, the Afragola Film Festival will cover the transportation and customs clearance costs from Afragola to the destination.
RELEASE INFORMATION
Authors and/or Producers are responsible for the content of their works and, by registering for the festival, declare that they have fulfilled all obligations towards third parties arising from copyright.
The rights holders of the selected films authorize Beyond Vision as follows:
- granting the right to communicate to the public and exploit the Work for the purpose of screening it during the festival;
- use of clips and photos from the films in question for promotional purposes of the Festival in all media: print, posters, television, and the web, with the use of the Festival logo, without any right to receive any compensation, indemnity, or reimbursement for such exploitation.
- waiving any compensation, prize, or recognition for communicating to the public and screening of the Work and/or its use.
HEALTH EMERGENCY
The organization reserves the right to modify the modalities of the event based on the needs related to the health emergency.
Personal Data Processing Notice
We need to process the personal data provided when registering your film for the purposes of managing the event. Providing this data is optional. However, failure to provide such data will make it impossible to select your submitted work for the purposes of organizing the event.
Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/03, we inform you that the data received will be processed in accordance with the principles of fairness and transparency, and exclusively for the purposes of managing the Festival.
The above data may be disclosed to our service providers and other third parties where necessary for managing the event or when required by law. A complete list of these entities will be available upon written request to the registered office of:

The name of the copyright holder of the works selected by Beyond Vision - Afragola International Architecture and Design Festival 2022 may be made public on the website www.afragolafilmfestival.it, as well as in print, radio, and television.

INVIO E FORMATO DEI MATERIALI
L'iscrizione dei film ai concorsi è gratuita.
Possono partecipare ai concorsi solo le opere completate a partire dal 1° gennaio 2024.
Non saranno accettate le opere inviate per l'edizione 2025 o precedenti.
I film saranno accettati solo se regolarmente caricati sulla piattaforma FilmFreeway https://filmfreeway.com/Afragolafilmfestival
Formati accettati per una prima valutazione:
Alta Definizione (HD 1080 x 720) e/o Full HD (1920 x 1080)
Caricamento H.264 / MPEG-4 / Mov.
Se l'opera viene selezionata, il partecipante dovrà fornire la propria opera in formato DCP per la proiezione in sala.
Importante: Non saranno riconosciuti compensi o altri tipi di compensi per la proiezione dei film iscritti al concorso.
L’invio dei lavori al concorso è da considerarsi al pari dell’accettazione del presente regolamento. Con l’invio, si consente alla società e ai responsabili di Al di Là della Visione di poter utilizzare i lavori ricevuti per iniziative culturali correlate al festival, nonché di inserire i suddetti su piattaforme in collaborazione col festival per facilitarne la diffusione e la visione, senza ledere diritti d’autore ed eventuali entrate economiche degli aventi diritto dei film stessi.
LINGUA
Tutti i film in lingua diversa dall'italiano devono essere inviati in lingua originale con sottotitoli in italiano o in inglese.
Tutte le opere prive di sottotitoli non saranno prese in considerazione.
SPEDIZIONE DELLE COPIE DI PROIEZIONE
La copia di proiezione del film in formato DCP dovrà pervenire presso la sede del festival entro e non oltre il 1 ottobre 2026, secondo le istruzioni fornite dal Festival:
- tramite e-mail all'indirizzo: info@afragolafilmfestival.it indicando come oggetto 'DCP e titolo del film';
- oppure via posta apponendo sulla busta la dicitura "Senza valore commerciale, solo per scopi culturali".
Qualsiasi spedizione proveniente da paesi extra-Unione Europea dovrà essere accompagnata da fattura proforma, elenco dei colli, documenti di viaggio (titolo e quantità dei supporti video per ciascun film; nel caso di pellicole in celluloide, dovrà essere indicato il numero di bobine e la lunghezza del film in metri). Contestualmente, il mittente dovrà assicurarsi che la segreteria del Festival riceva via e-mail l'avviso di spedizione, indicando: titolo del film, data e coordinate di spedizione (numero AWB).
Le spese di spedizione e sdoganamento della copia di proiezione dei film selezionati sono a carico del mittente. Per la restituzione, l'Afragola Film Festival si farà carico delle spese di trasporto e sdoganamento da Afragola al luogo di destinazione.
INFORMAZIONI SULLA LIBERATORIA
Autori e/o Produttori sono responsabili del contenuto delle proprie opere e dichiarano, con l'iscrizione al festival, di aver adempiuto a tutti gli obblighi nei confronti di terzi derivanti dal diritto d'autore.
I titolari dei diritti dei film selezionati autorizzano Al di Là della Visione come segue:
- concessione del diritto di comunicazione al pubblico e sfruttamento dell'Opera ai fini della proiezione della stessa durante i giorni della manifestazione;
- utilizzo di spezzoni e foto tratti dai film in questione per finalità promozionali del Festival su tutti i media: stampa, cartellonistica, televisione, web con l'utilizzo del logo del Festival senza alcun diritto a ricevere alcun compenso per tale sfruttamento, indennità, rimborso.
- rinuncia a qualsiasi corrispettivo, premio o riconoscimento per la comunicazione al pubblico e la proiezione dell'Opera e/o l'utilizzo dell'Opera.
EMERGENZA SANITARIA
L’organizzazione si riserva il diritto di variare, in base alle esigenze legate all'emergenza sanitaria, le modalità di svolgimento dell'evento.
Informativa sul trattamento dei dati personali
Abbiamo bisogno di trattare i dati personali forniti al momento dell'iscrizione del film ai fini della gestione dell'evento. Il conferimento dei dati è facoltativo. Tuttavia, il mancato invio di tali dati rende impossibile procedere alla selezione dell'opera candidata ai fini dell'organizzazione dell'evento.
Ai sensi dell'art. 13 del D.Lgs. 196/03, la informiamo che i dati ricevuti saranno trattati secondo i principi di correttezza, trasparenza ed esclusivamente per le finalità di gestione del Festival.
I dati sopra indicati potranno essere comunicati ai nostri fornitori di servizi e ad altre terze parti, ove necessario ai fini della gestione dell'evento o qualora vi sia un obbligo di legge. Un elenco completo di tali soggetti sarà disponibile su richiesta scritta alla sede legale di:
