Adrian Prospero was born in Perth, Western Australia. He is a screenwriter and director, known for directing the award winning short film The Hunt and Once Were Heroes.
Adrian graduated with a Bachelor in Film and Diploma in Marketing. He began directing television commercials as the lead creative director of White Pixel. Writing and directing adverts for state and national brands including IGA, REIWA and Novotel Hotels. These adverts have broadcast across Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong for the past ten years.
With a strong focus on social media marketing, Adrian has collaborated with brands to create online campaigns across platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
Adrian's interest in human stories has lead him to direct a range of short documentaries that cover issues including drink driving, depression and life changing injuries. Collaborating with community focused brands like CBH, RAC and the Paraplegic Benefit Fund, these stories have screened to thousands of people across Australia.
Adrian's passion for story telling has seen him write and direct a series of short films that have screened at festivals around the world, including Los Angeles, New York and Miami. With six complete short films, Adrian continues to develop long form projects based on original written screenplays.
