Adam is a wildlife photographer and filmmaker with a passion for showcasing the world’s natural diversity as meaningfully and truthfully as possible. From a youth spent exploring ponds that lead to a career in ecology and conservation, his goal in life is to blend scientific insight with artistic storytelling, to play with explorative and experimental modes of delivery, and inspire a greater appreciation for wildlife conservation.
He is best known for his debut film Rock Pool, which he produced and shot as cinematographer. Rock Pool went on to receive the Sound Award at the prestigious Wildscreen Panda Awards.
Adam is also a cofounder and director of Soup Audiovisual, a production company dedicated to blending science, slowness, cinematography, and sound to reveal the marvels of our planet through immersive visual storytelling. The work of Soup Audiovisual is characterised by a tactile and sensory approach; fusing Adam’s cinematography with director Dan MaKay’s distinctive vision and the intricate sound design and compositions of Tom Bosher.
