Adam Ethan Crow is a South African–Irish filmmaker whose work spans major studio collaborations, acclaimed festival success, and international distribution.
His debut feature Lair was released through Studiocanal, Universal Pictures, Sony, and theatrically via MGM and The Weinstein Company. His follow-up film, Midnight Caller (formerly Warhol), earned a nomination for Best UK Feature at the 31st Raindance Film Festival, selling out its world premiere in under two hours—a festival record—and went on to win Best Picture at the Paris International Film Festival, The Girona Film Festival, and multiple others worldwide.
Crow also received Best Director awards from Girona, the European Cinematography Awards, and AOF International, as well as Best Screenplay at Girona and the Frame-rate Screenwriting Competition. His films have screened at BAFTA, the British Society of Cinematographers, and across a wide range of international festivals including Cinequest, Frightfest, BFI London, and Bendfilm.
Collaborating with industry figures such as Scott Mednick (Batman Begins), James M. Vernon (Hacksaw Ridge), Robert Laycock (James Bond), and Denise O’Dell (The Counsellor), Crow has produced content for 20th Century Fox, The BBC, Sky TV, Amazon, Netflix and many more.
His dual background in creative direction and production management, combined with academic collaborations with Harvard Business School and MIT, positions him as a filmmaker recognised for precision, storytelling intelligence, and international appeal.
