Achraf El Afia, a passionate filmmaker and photographer from Tangier, Morocco. For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to cinema and its ability to explore important social themes and issues. That's why I decided to study cinema and pursue a Master's degree in documentary filmmaking in Morocco, where I've been able to develop my skills and explore my passion for capturing the complexities of human experience through film.

But my love for photography actually came before my love for cinema. I've always been fascinated by the art of photography and how it can capture the beauty and complexity of the world around us. Over time, I've honed my technical skills as a director of photography, learning how to craft visually stunning and emotionally resonant images that serve the narrative and communicate the themes and ideas of a given project. Whether I'm working on a documentary or a feature film, my photography always aims to capture the essence of my subject matter and to create a powerful emotional connection with my audience.

Looking forward, I plan to continue pursuing my passion for filmmaking and photography, and to create works that challenge and inspire audiences to think and act differently. I believe that cinema and photography have the power to promote positive social change and to foster greater understanding and compassion among people of all backgrounds and cultures. That's why I plan to travel and explore new places and cultures, collaborating with other filmmakers and industry professionals who share my commitment to social issues and the power of storytelling.
