I am a filmmaker from Pakistan who recently graduated from Pomona College, California where I studied Film and Theater. I was awarded The Virginia Princehouse Allen Prizes in Drama for acting in multiple mainstage productions as well as producing and putting up an amatuer play in my senior year. I was also awarded The Scott Winslow Award in Media Studies for the work on my two theses - a short film and a feature length screenplay based on the short. The short film, Janaaza, along with my other short films have been in film festivals in Texas, California, United Kingdom, Pakistan and India.

I'm currently writing a feature length film and working on film essays on the side as well as working on short films projects.
