From a young age, Aaron was captivated by the world of cinema, drawn to the dynamic energy and sense of community that thrives on a film set. He has always believed in the power of collective storytelling, which led him to chase his passion and immerse himself in the cinematic world.
As an exceptional student, Aaron graduated with honors from Columbia College, one of the top film schools in the country, where he honed his skills in film and video. His academic journey culminated in the creation of his breakout film, "Barista". This compelling narrative premiered at the esteemed Sarasota Film Festival, and subsequently screened at the celebrated HollyShorts Film Festival, where it was recognized with the prestigious Audience Choice Award.
Building on his early success, Aaron has spent the last eleven years working as a freelance professional across television, film, and video. This diverse experience has enriched his expertise in cinematography and editing, and has enabled him to master the intricate balance between creativity and technical proficiency.
Aaron's filmmaking portfolio is both broad and accomplished. He has directed and produced numerous short narrative and documentary films, and has successfully ventured into digital storytelling with a 5-episode web series. Demonstrating a constant drive to create, Aaron turned to feature-length writing in 2015 following the premiere of "Barista".
Presently, Aaron is developing five exciting feature-length projects, three of which are in collaboration with the talented Christian Scala. Alongside these, he is also overseeing the post-production of four short films, underlining his ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects. "If No One’s Around" is one of these promising features, exemplifying Aaron's ongoing commitment to creating captivating narratives.
