Documentary filmmaker, writer and interviewer exploring Black history, political memory, and the African diaspora.
Pascal Archimède is a writer, interviewer and documentary filmmaker. He collaborates with the online media platform NOFI, where he conducts interviews with artists, filmmakers and cultural figures from the African diaspora. He is also the author of Black American History, from plantations to rap culture, a book that explores the history of Black Americans through music. Through years of interviews and research on history and culture, the transition to documentary filmmaking became a natural step. His film "Sisters in Destiny: Angela Davis and Gerty Archimède" continues this work by exploring the parallel journeys of two women who shaped struggles for justice and equality.
