Local Category participants in this Festival must reside in Allen County, in Indiana. Participants must be between the ages of 12-19.

The Allen County Public Library Teen Department and Access Fort Wayne
present the 2023 Teen Film Contest. It's a wonderful opportunity
for young filmmakers to show their work.

Local Categories: 18 second short, Comedy, Drama, and Documentary. These categories are separated into two main divisions Middle School and High School.

One Winner and One Runner Up will be announced for each category.

World Categories: 18 second short, Comedy, Drama, and Documentary.

Local Winners will take home a gift card!

The Awards Ceremony will be held on June 3rd at the Allen County Public Library, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Rules & Terms

All entries should be no longer than 10 minutes. Each entry should be uploaded to YouTube and the url submitted to FilmFreeway.

Open submissions for the 2023 ACPL Teen Film Festival will begin on September 30th, 2022. This Festival is open to World participants. Prizes will be given to participants from Allen County in Indiana, grades 6-12. A panel of independent judges will review all entries to the competition.

Winners will be selected based on technical excellence and creativity. There will be two finalists for each category.
