A.B. Osborne focuses on projects that that highlight environmental topics and celebrate the diverse and vibrant world around us. His projects usually run alongside his courses and are designed to give students the chance to creatively shape the story and visuals.
Outside of filmmaking, A.B. is the Director of the Animation Program and an Associate Professor of Animation at Augusta University. As an educator, A.B. built and launched the Animation degree program at Augusta University in 2019. In 2023, A.B. was awarded the "Teaching Excellence" Award for Augusta University. In 2025, A.B. won the "Arts Educator" Award with the Greater Augusta Arts Council.
As an artist, A.B. is a director and 3D Generalist who has made it a point to work and teach across a variety of media platforms. He's worked in games, animated shorts, educational animation, and even surgical simulators. He earned his MFA from Savannah College of Art & Design in Animation and his BA in Broadcasting and Electronic Media from Eastern Kentucky University.
