IMPORTANT : We only accept films by directors up to 30 years old !
Since its inception in 2014, the Festival 7ème Lune has never stopped defending its main guideline : see young talents emerge.
Powered by its young and energetic team, the festival looks to give a total freedom of artistic expression to filmmakers with an exciting and bold selection. Whatever the film's budget, length, country of origin or genre, the idea is to build an eclectic and strict selection comprised of the best short and feature length films from directors under 30 years old from all around the world
We also offer the opportunity for the authors to present their work to an always eclectic and high-stardard jury : Claire Denis, Cédric Klapisch, Alain Guiraudie, Ardaund Desplechin, Kim Chapiron, Rebecca Zlotowski, Guillaume Brac, Nabil Ayouch, Anais Demoustier, Damien Manivel, Jean-Baptiste Thoret, Hu Wei...
All genres and length welcome : The two main international selections (short film and feature film) accept fiction, non-ficition, animation, and experimental films alike, from anywhere in the world. And we also have three other selections focusing on short documentary for the first one, and on experimental shorts for the second one, and on animation shorts for the third.
