A young student spends quarantine taking so many drugs that he develops drug-induced psychosis. "The Being" accompanies him meanwhile. As the student starts questioning his heavy use, the Being forces him to continue his consumption.

Leander Völker is a young Filmmaker from Munich. He watched "Apocalypse Now" when he was twelve and dreamt of making films ever since. Now his first short film is finished.

Director Statement

This Film depicts what being young during the pandemic was like. Depressed, lonely and joy-deprived. The inspiration for this film were my peers and friends during the pandemic.
