The New York WILD Film Festival and NYU are partnering to invite students to participate in the third annual "WILD in New York" short student film (2-5minutes) contest. NY WILD showcases films from around the world that cover a spectrum of wild topics, from exploration and adventure to wildlife, conservation and the environment.
*****PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE AN NYU STUDENT TO ENTER AND THE FILM MUST BE A DOCUMENTARY.
Everyone thinks "the wild" is someplace else. It's right here, in our streets, homes, parks, waterways, rooftops ... Students will create a 2-5 min film (high quality cell phone videos accepted) on the theme of what’s “WILD in New York”. Surprise viewers with your unexpected stories of how you experience the wild amidst the urban world that surrounds you.
A jury will select a winner and a runner up who will each win amazing prizes. The winners will screen at NYU.
The winners will win great prizes and will be screened at the "WILD in NY" program @ NYU in April 2020.
