Paolo Vandoni was born in Locarno, Switzerland, where he still lives. He has worked as a filmmaker and a videographer over the past 25 years. He has directed several documentaries for RSI, the national swiss television.
Lorenzo Pomari was also born in Locarno. He attended the New York Film Academy, where he graduated with a Master Degree in Filmmaking in 2013. His short film "The Washing Machine" has been screened and awarded by several film festivals around the world. He now lives in Switzerland, where he also works for RSI.
When Davide Martinoni, the executive producer, got in touch with us with an idea for a documentary, we were immidiatly hooked. His idea was to make a film about the work of William Shakespeare and how it can be performed by anyone thanks to its universality.
As shooting progressed, it quickly became clear to us that the main theme of the documentary was actually going to be a different one: integration.
Integration in different forms: into a different society, a foreign country, or into adulthood.
We are very proud of how the film turned out, and we are happy to start sharing it with the world!
