Unique Human

This film gives a short glimpse into the world of Autism, composed of words, people with Autism, music, surround sound (5.1 Dolby mix for Cinemas) and animation, created by Autistic filmmaker Sam Downie.

In January 2019, 104 Films & Biggerhouse Film commissioned a short film project to explore the possibility of making a short film, to give a general audience a small window into the condition of Autism, and Neurodiversity.

Unique Human, is a film that reminds us that we are all human + unique, we all have flaws and make mistakes, but.. that's okay. The film reminds you to celebrate Neurodiversity and difference.
A short simple message, to encourage change and action. Along with a sonic soundtrack and voiceover also created by filmmaker Sam Downie.

This film had funding from ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the British Film Institute (BFI) as part of the Future Film Skills programme.
