The Toilet
The war in Syria, in the last 5 years, forced millions of women to start a new life in foreign lands without security, hygiene, employment and hope. According to AFAD, 835 thousand female refugees in Turkey are living outside of the camps. In Adana alone, 4335 refugee female agricultural workers struggle to live in tents without light, hygiene and security. Afraid of sexual assault and rape, they can not even go to the toilet alone. When was the last time going to the toilet was such a big problem for you?
