Heirs Unapparent
It’s Succession for the spring break crowd: an arrogant heir, a hidden successor, and a fortune on the line. In a house full of secrets and liars, the real fight isn’t just for the money — it’s for who gets to write the story of their legacy.
When Kevin Newhouse returns home to claim his inheritance after his father’s death, he expects a crown — but instead finds a curse. A sealed will reveals the existence of a missing heir, and unless they are found, Kevin risks losing the family fortune and control of the empire. As he and his reckless friends gather at the estate for spring break, what begins as a race to secure power turns into a tangle of betrayals, hidden agendas, and family secrets.
Enter Darynn Edwards, a sharp-witted waitress with working-class grit, who crosses paths with Kevin and unexpectedly holds a key to his past. She was raised by Lizbet Edwards — once nanny to Kevin’s mother and unknowingly the adoptive mother of Kevin’s half-sibling. As the search for the rightful heir intensifies, old sins surface, bonds are tested, and Kevin must confront the hard truth: the only way to win may be to become a better man than he ever thought he could be.
In the end, Heirs Unapparent is not just a story about inheritance, but about identity, redemption, and whether legacy is defined by blood — or by choice.
